Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes has announced that 640 candidates filed with her office to run in the May 20 Primary Election. The deadline to file was January 28, 2014, at 4:00 p.m., local time at the place of filing.

WKU FALL 2013 HONOR ROLL POSTED ONLINE

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Fall 2013 Western Kentucky University Dean’s and President’s List is available online. Students making the Dean’s List have a grade-point average of 3.4 to 3.79 on a 4.0 scale. Students on the President’s List have GPAs of 3.8 to 4.0. To be eligible for the either list, students must have at least 12 hours of coursework that semester.

10th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky Award Winners Announced

FRANKFORT, Ky. The Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce announce the winners in the 10th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky competition. The winner rankings will be announced at an awards dinner Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Heritage Hall in the Lexington Convention Center.
