Laurel County, Ky. (Sept. 26, 2019) -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston Along with Deputy Josh Morgan, Sgt. John Inman, K-9 Deputy Gary Mehler, and CSO Judy Morgan arrested two individuals early Thursday morning September 26, 2019 at approximately 12:13 AM.

(Sept. 26, 2019) -- Wednesday, Congressman Hal Rogers announced the West Knox Volunteer Fire Rescue Service has been awarded more than $242,000 to enhance local emergency response through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program.
