Ms.Hester Allen age 82 of Gum Gap Road, Manchester passed away Thursday, October 27th, 2016 peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Ms. Allen is survived by her sons, Donnie Wayne Allen and Terry Allen, of Lockards Creek, her daughters, Judy Hubbard, husband Eddie Jo and Janet Allen of Manchester. She is also survived by her brother John Henry Jackson of Ashers Fork and her sister Bessie Allen of Horse Creek and the following grandchildren: Shannon Hubbard, Tabitha Roberts, Kimberly Craft, Brittney Wagers,Chad Allen, Megan Henson, Samantha Barger Justin Barger, Jason Roberts and Terri Allen. Six great grandchildren survive, Page Hubbard, Oliva Hubbard, Micah Hubbard, Hadden Henson, Ephram Craft and Branson Roberts.
Ms. Allen was raised by her step-mother Ethel Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Woodson and Daisy
Jackson and her brother Raymond Jackson.
Funeral service for Hester Allen will be held 1 PM Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Fedor officiating. Burial will follow in the Paces Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday, October 29th, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
