Susan Centers, 71, of Indianapolis passed away November 30, 2016. She was born March 26, 1945 in Manchester, KY to Hugh and Bertha (Sibert) Hyde.
Susan was a caregiver, putting everyone else above her own needs. She had a strong faith in God and loved her family, reading and cats. Susan worked for the Masonic Home in Franklin, IN for 26 years.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Clyde Hyde.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmie Centers; son, Jimmie (Linda) Centers; daughter, Lisa (Randy) Klinger; brother, Johnny (Gracie) Hyde; grandchildren, Nichole (James) Taylor, Natalie (Tim) Meadows, Jimmie (Jennifer) Centers, Hope (Charles) Messmore, Noah and Simon Klinger; great grandchildren, Lily, Dakota and Levi Centers, Charlotte Messmore, Temperance Taylor, Jaxson Meadows and coming soon, Madeline Centers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8 from 4 pm – 8 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 9 at 10 am, also in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
