Mrs. Marie Smith, age 67 of Greenbriar departed this life on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her home. She was born on Tuesday, August 15, 1950 in Manchester to the union of Walter and Latha Philpot Napier. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Run Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter: Amy Finley and her husband Joseph of Manchester, her granddaughter: Emily Grace Finley, her special niece and caretaker: Vivian Napier, her special caretaker and sister: Pauline Hammons as well as these brothers and sisters: Betty Lou Harris, Paul Napier, Roscoe Napier, and Youel Napier as well as a special friend and neighbor: Bobby Collins.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Latha Napier, her husband Charles Russell Smith and her brothers: Lee Roy Napier and Ernest Napier.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Marie Smith will be conducted on Wednesday, November 15 at1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jerry Hurst will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
