Orale Jackson, 89, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, April 16th, at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Orale was born on July 9, 1928, a son of the late Mary Alice (Stewart) and John Jackson.
Orale was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Jackson.
Orale is survived by three daughters and on son: Wilma Webb and husband Charles of London, Cheyenne Gambrel and husband Darrell of Manchester, Betty Hoskins of Branson, MO, and Donald Jackson of London.
He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; his sister, Cleo Jackson of Manchester, and his brother, Vernon Jackson and wife Marjorie of Pikeville.
In addition to his wife and parents, Orale was preceded in death by 3 children: Teresa Hoskins, Wilson Jackson and Wendell Jackson; his brother, Becaum Jackson; and his sisters: Christine Sandlin and Ethel Irvin.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 19th at the Old Indian Grave Baptist Church, with Kenneth Jones and Reggie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 19th at the Old Indian Grave Baptist Church.
