Doris Faye Crawford Lee, age 75 of Manchester, departed this life on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at her home.
She was born on Friday, June 12, 1942 in Manchester to the union of Charles and Lucy Hicks Crawford. She worked for the Caron Spinning Company and was a foster grandparent for the Save the Children program for over 12 years as well as a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her son: Sammy Lee, her daughter Beth White and her husband Joe, 5 grandchildren: Joseph White, Will White, Poem Lee, Samuel Lee, and Micah Lee as well as her brothers and sisters: Charles Ed Crawford and his wife Ruth, Ed Coffman, JoAnn Sizemore and Ollie Sester. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews: Ruth Bullock, Chuck Crawford, Misty Crawford, Tabitha Sizemore and Alicia Crawford.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Lucy Crawford, her brothers: Hubert Crawford, Thomas Milton Crawford and Jack Crawford, and her sisters: Billie Sue Brumley and Stacey Crawford.
Funeral Services for Doris Faye Crawford Lee will be conducted on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Anthony Lovett and Joe White will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Crawford Cemetery in the Crawfish Community.
Visitation will be held on Friday evening after 6:00 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
