Sylvester Mills, 77, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, May 28th, at the ContinueCARE Hospital in Corbin.
He was born in Brightshade, KY on April 21, 1941, a son of the late Treassie (Smith) and Cleveland Mills.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta (Cheek) Mills.
He is survived by his daughter, Leila Cheryl Mills of Whites Branch; and his brother, Orville Mills of Laurel County.
In addition to his wife, Sylvester was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Treassie Mills; his son, Sylvester Mills, Jr.; and his brother, Waymon Mills.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 31st at the York Cemetery on Elisha Feltner Road.
