Carolene Turner, 71, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, July 2nd, at the University Of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
Carolene was born in Big Creek, KY on September 12, 1946, a daughter of the late Mae (England) and Dewey Collins.
Carolene is survived by her husband, T. J. Turner of Manchester; her daughters: Denise Turner (Wesley) of Piqua, OH and Dawn Turner (Patrick Baker) of Manchester; and her son, Dewey Dillon Helton (Analyssa) of Lily.
She is also survived by her sisters: Evelyene Morgan of London, Bessilene Griffin of Elk Creek, Kathelene Holland of Burning Springs, and Elizabeth Kordish of Cincinnati, OH; by 5 grandchildren: Rachel Woodin, Cody Combs, Mallorie Combs, Jalyn Smith and Talon Turner; and 2 great grandchildren: Addison Woodin and Caris Woodin.
In addition to her parents, Carolene was preceded in death by the following brothers and sister: Raymond Collins, Dewey Collins, Jr., Ethelene Gray, Fred Collins, Kenople Collins and Albert Collins.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 7th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with George Davidson and Emmalene Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at the Harts Branch Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Friday, July 6th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
