George Bill Robinson, 77, of Corbin, KY, passed away Friday, February 22nd, at the Baptist Health Corbin Hospital.
George was born in Manchester, KY on December 25, 1941, a son of the late Louvernie (Thompson) and Beve Robinson.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly Carolyn (Collins) Robinson, and the following children: Joyce Ann Robinson and husband Jimmy Roberts of Manchester, Billy Robinson and wife Robbin of Manchester, Charlie Robinson and wife Melissa of Burning Springs, George Bill Robinson, Jr. of Manchester, Anthony Lynn Robinson, of Manchester and Bill Douglas Riley of Salem, IN.
George is also survived by two sisters: Ruth Ann Davidson and husband Roy of Salem, IN, and Dorothy Robinson of Somerset, KY; by his brother, Henry Robinson; and by 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by son, William Robinson, and his daughter, Kathy Robinson.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 1st at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Frank Collins and Paul Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at the Jackie and Rufus Collins Cemetery on Collins Gibson Road.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, February 28th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
