Mr. Charlie Smith, age 68 departed this life on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Wednesday, February 28, 1951 in Manchester, Kentucky to Vernon and Mae Smith.
He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter: Kimberly Collins and her husband Franklin, his granddaughter: Kayla Collins, his grandsons: Joshua Collins and his wife Rose and Bradley Collins as well as these brothers and sisters: Irene Gray, Maudie Henson, Carl Smith, Billy Ray Henson, Debra Swafford, Estill Smith, Marsh Smith, Larry Smith and Vernon Smith, Jr.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Vernon and Mae Smith, his grandparents: Ruely and Theo Smith and his brother: Herbert Henson and Gary Smith.
Funeral Services for Mr. Charlie Smith will be conducted on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Wagers will be presiding. He will be laid to rest in the Goose Rock Cemetery in the Goose Rock Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday evening after 6:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rominger Funeral Home.
