Calvin Smith, 64, of Manchester, KY, passed away Saturday, January 27th, at his farm in Laurel County KY. Calvin was born on April 23, 1959, to the union of the late Owen and Ruth (Hoskins) Smith.
Calvin is survived by and leaves to mourn his wife of 30 years, Ruth Ann (House) Smith; his daughter Luci Calvina Smith (Ben Brooks, fiancé); and his brothers and sisters, Teddy (Kathy) Smith, Stanley (Jan) Smith, Catherine (Morris) Finley, Shirley Smith, Owen Glenn Smith, and Alan Smith. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Cole Smith, Jarrod Smith, Emily Levey, Kellie Smith, Justin Smith, Samuel Finley, Andrew Finley, Kailyn Baker, Abram Finley, Isabelle Finley, and Thomas Smith. And his great nieces and nephews, Levi Owen Smith, Eli Smith, Caroline Smith, Madeline Levey, Charlotte Finley, Maxwell Finley, and John Reed Baker.
Calvin was a heavy equipment operator for forty-five years. He had a love of farming.
The services will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, January 31st, at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Ken Bolin officiating. Pallbearers will be Cole Smith, Jarrod Smith, Justin Smith, Andrew Finley, Abram Finley, Thomas Smith, Levi Owen Smith, and Eli Smith.
The visitation will be held at 6:00 pm, on Tuesday, January 30th, at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
The burial will follow the service at Heaven Sent Cemetery, Hwy 80, Laurel County KY.
