Donnie Lee Wagers, 78, of Corbin, Ky, passed away Wednesday, June 18th at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Ky. Donnie was born on December 11th, 1946, a son of the late Beve and Rosa Curry Wagers.
Donnie is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Goins Wagers.
He is survived by his sons: Anthony Wagers and wife Lucy of Manchester, Terry Wagers and wife Brenda of Manchester, and Stanley Wagers and wife Jessica of Corbin.
He is also survived by his brothers and sister: Roy Wagers of Manchester, Troy Wagers of Manchester, James Wagers and wife Kim of Manchester, and Brenda Walter’s and husband David of London; as well as the following grandchildren: Christian Blake Wagers, Brayden Wagers, Terry Austin Lee Wagers, William Lee Wagers, Stanley Wagers, Jr., Mark Anthony Lee Wagers, Haileigh Rose Wagers, Mark Anthony Wagers, Brittany Rochelle Wagers, Billy Shannon Moore, and Tyler Blake Wagers; the following great-grandchildren: Dalton Ray Braden, Braxton Kaine Couch, Axel Blake Wagers, Luka Anthony Wagers, Cohen Blake Wagers, and one on the way, Bentley Blake Wagers.
In addition to his wife and parents, Donnie is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Rojem.
Services for Donnie will be held at 1:30 on Monday, June 23rd, at Britton Funeral Home, with Don Hubbard and Shawn Grubb officiating. Burial will follow in the Engine Cemetery in Manchester.
Visitation for Donnie will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, June 23rd, at Britton Funeral Home.
