James Edward Cheek, son of the late William Nelson Cheek, and Hazel Marie (Hampton) Cheek was born on July 13, 1958 in Manchester, Kentucky. He was united marriage to Sharon (Benge) Cheek of Manchester, who survives.
He is also survived by his children; James Dwayne Cheek and wife Beth of London, Kentucky, and Amanda Raquel Smith and husband Tim of Manchester, Kentucky, by his siblings; Larry Melvin Cheek of Manchester, Kentucky, and Della Mae Lovins of Indiana, by grandchildren; Joseph Ray Hammons, Jacob William Hammons, Andrew James Scott Smith, Konner Bureman, and Madison Messer, plus a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded by one sister Ruth Ann Gibson. He was retired from Flowers Bakery and was of the Pentecostal Faith. James Edward Cheek departed this life on Friday, June 20, 2025 being 66 years 11 months, and 7 days of age.
Funeral Services for James Edward Cheek will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 24, 2025 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Wade England officiating. Burial will follow Cheek Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky.
The family of James Edward Cheek will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Monday, June 23, 2025.
