Herbert (Eat a bite) Couch, 79, of Big Creek, was born, June 11th, 1934, passed away, Monday, July 15th, 2013, at his home.
He is survived by his wife: Bernice Couch, of Big Creek, and these children, Terry Joe Couch, and wife Beulah, of Big Creek, Herbert Anthony Couch, of Lexington, Scott Allen Couch, of Corbin, Vanda Jean Deaton, and husband, Tom, Brenda Lee Smith, and husband, Walker, Eva Denise Baker, and husband, Tony, all of Big Creek, 7 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by one special friend, Danny Hall, two special sister-in-laws, Daisy Estep and Bonnie Lewis, of Bear Branch, one uncle, Leonard Collins, and one aunt, Lucy Smith, and these brother and sister in laws, John Wayne Hollin, and wife, Marlene, James Douglas Hollin, and wife, Kimberly, Walter and Sheila Hollin, Cassie and Virgil Jeffreys, and Ora Pearl Jones.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Joe and Hester Couch, one son, Phillip Wayne Couch, 9 brothers and sisters, 2 brother-in-laws, Allen Jr. Hollin, and Doris Holland.
He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services for Herbert (Eat a Bite) Couch will be 2 PM Friday at the Jim Sizemore Holiness Church at Bob Fork with Jerry McKinley Holland, Bruce Bush, JD Hensley, Bobby Dwayne Holland, and Jerry Holland. Burial will follow in the Couch Family Cemetery at Big Creek. Visitation will be after 12 noon Wednesday at the Church.
