Ed Edwards, 74, of Manchester, was born April 6th, 1940, and passed away Sunday, August 24th, 2014 at the St. Joseph London hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Edwards of Greenbrier, one son, James Edwards of Greenbrier, one daughter Tina Carnahan and husband Ben of Greenbrier, three grandchildren, Austin and Adam Carnahan, and Cody Edwards.
He is also survived by two brothers, Cliff Edwards of Booneville, Fred Edwards of Manchester, two sisters, Callie Metcalf of Sexton Creek, and Karen McQueen of Moore's Creek, KY.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Lucy Edwards, two brothers, Clarence Edwards, Charles Edwards, and three sisters, Mattie Byrd, Sylvia Pennington, and Belma Gunther.
He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services for Ed Edwards will be held 2 PM Wednesday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with George Grigsby officiating. Burial will follow in the Carnahan Cemetery on Greenbrier. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Wednesday at the Britton Funeral Home.
