Mrs. Elizabeth Davis, age 94 of Kalamazoo, Michigan, formerly of Clay County, departed this life on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Kairo Dwelling in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
She was born Friday, January 7, 1921 in Clay County, to the union of John and Jane Robinson Runion. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jacks Branch Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Edd Campbell, Amy Jane Foister, and Della Thomas, her siblings: Della M. Jones, Bess O’Brien, and Mary Grote, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: John and Jane Runion, her husband: Thurstan Davis and Henry Campbell, her children: Earl Campbell, Juanita Hibbard, Belph “Paige” Campbell, Ronnie Campbell, and Mary Alveras, her brothers: Albert, John and Ledford Runion and 5 grandchildren.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help with funeral expenses,
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Davis will be conducted on Saturday, February 7 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Friday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
