Evelyn Hensley, 74 of Sextons Creek passed away on Monday, June 8th 2015 at her home
Evelyn is survived by her children, Oliver Hensley Jr. and wife Barbara of Gum Branch, T.A. Hensley of Gum Branch, Laura Davidson and husband David of Oneida and Patricia Davidson and husband James of Gum Branch. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Tom Byrd of Sextons Creek, Harper Byrd of Teges, Delbert Byrd of Sextons Creek and Flora Hensley of Sextons Creek.
She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Oliver Hensley, Her parents Oscar and Hazel Hicks Byrd and the following brother and sisters: Daniel Byrd, Lora Bishop and Sylvia Byrd.
The funeral service for Evelyn Hensley will be held at 11 AM Friday at the Cool Springs Community Church with Coy Grubb, Mitchell Ball, Harold Byrd and Henry Lloyd Deaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Lower Saddler Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Wednesday and after 5 PM Thursday at the Cool Springs Community Church.
