Ms.Beulah Ponder age 95 of Garrard passed away Wednesday August 26, 2015 at the Laurel Creek Nursing Home. Ms. Ponder was a faithful member of the New Home Baptist Church.
Ms. Ponder is survived by the following children: Aileen Wilson and husband Albert of Westchester, Ohio, Lois Stewart of Milford, Ohio, Joyce Smith of Westchester, Ohio, Janet smith, husband Delbert of Manchester,Donnie Sandlin wife Verdalain of Manchester, Pauline LeFevers and husband Herbert of Midland, Ohio,George Ponder and wife Debbie of Salem,Indiana.
Ms. Ponder is also survived by the following grandchildren: Inez Leeds, Jeff Stewart, Kathy Mason, Joy Foutch, James Smith, Betty Sizemore, Donnie Sandlin Jr.,Katie McCarter, Chasity Sandlin, Michelle Henson,Todd Smith, Randy Mobley, Ritchie Mobley, Erin Humphery and Daniel Ponder. 22 Great grandchildren and 5 Great, great grandchildren survive.
Ms. Ponder was preceded in death by her husband Daniel "Powers" Ponder, her mother Bertha Hensley Reed, her father Larkin Reed and the following brother and sisters: Squire Reed, Pleaz Reed, Leonard Reed, Henry Reed, Oscar Reed, Hughie Reed, Clarence Reed, Dewey Reed, Dora Philpot and Mable Carpenter.
Funeral service for Buelah Ponder will be held 2:00 PM Saturday August 29, 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Darrell Bargo officiating. Burial will follow in the Squire Hensley Cemetery Cemetery, Oneida, Ky.
Visitation for Beulah Ponder will be held 6:00 PM Friday August 28, 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel
