Myrtle Jackson age 92 of Fenton, Michigan, formerly of Manchester passed away September 25th 2015 in Michigan.
Myrtle was born May 22, 1923 in Manchester, Ky, the daughter of Ben and Mary Bowling Allen. She was a member of Deerfield Primitive Baptist Church for many years. Surviving are her children, David Junior (Cora) Jackson, Nannie (Charles J.) Phillips, Terry Jackson; daughter-in-law, Lois Jackson; special grandson, Charles Phillips; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; brother Sherman Allen.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dave Jackson; daughter, Jessie Gates; son, Donnie Wayne Jackson; granddaughter, Mary Sally Diggs; son-in-law, William Franklin Diggs; nine brothers and a sister.
Funeral services for Myrtle will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 30th 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Burke officiating. Burial will follow in the Allen-Bowling Cemetery at Hector.
Visitation will be after 5:00 PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
