Mrs. Ida Mae Thomas age 74 of Yeager Branch Road, Manchester passed away Thursday , November 19, 2015. She was a employee of KCEOC Head Start, Manchester.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by the following children: Billy Wayne Thomas, Jamestown, Luther Gene Thomas, wife Charlene, Michael Dean Thomas, wife Barbara, Middlesboro, Jimmy Darrell Thomas, wife Teresa, Manchester, Joyce Lynn Duff, husband Donnie, Horse Creek, and Sandra Kay Wilson, husband Wendell, of London. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters. William Gregory Jr., wife Eva, Teddy Gregory, wife Rose, Corbin, Barbara Smith, Manchester, Pauline Hedrick, husband Ted, Corbin and Liddie Harrison, Louisville. Ky. Also surviving are 18 Grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Mrs.Thomas was preceded in death by her husband Luther Wayne Thomas, her parents William and Miranda Pearl Fisher and these brothers and sisters. Lora Goins, Rosette Oakley, and Paul Gregory.
Funeral services for Ida Mae Thomas will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Travis Fields officiating. Burial will follow in the Gregory Cemetery at Yeager Branch.
Visitation will be at 6:00 PM Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
