Paul Wagers

Paul Wagers, 55 of London, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at UK Hospital in Lexington.

He is survived by his wife Penny, three children; Sarah and Lucas Wagers of London and Melissa Harman of Sweetwater, Tennessee, and two grandchildren; Alyssa and Elijah Harman of Sweetwater. He is survived by his dad Chester Wagers and sister Ollie Loughran of Big Creek, Ky. He is also survived by five nephews; Daniel Loughran, Kyle Wagers, Shawn Wagers, Matthew Wagers, Joseph Wagers and one niece Kathryn Wagers.

Paul is also survived by his mother and father in law Disie and Marquis Watson, one sister in law Cindy Decker and two brothers in law; Michael Watson and Joey Decker. He is also survived by many other family members; aunts uncles, cousins, great nephews and nieces. In passing he will join hie family that have already gone on. His mom, Gracie Wagers and three brothers; George, Ronald and Larry Wagers.

Paul loved to read and watch movies. He especially liked old classic movies. Penny remembers the last thing they watched together was The Andy Griffith Show.

Paul enjoyed collecting knives and guns. He liked target shooting with his cousin Wade. He liked going to yard sales and flea markets, collecting various junk, especially to do with his favorite heroes like Superman. He was always buying things for everyone whether it was a dress for hie niece Abby or some salt shakers for his sister Ollie or something that played music for Pap. He was generous to all.

Paul was always ready to tell you a joke or something that sometimes only he thought was funny. But it always made you feel better just seeing how funny he thought it was.

Paul loved his family and loved spending time with them. He greatly loved his children Melissa, Sarah and Lucas. He was so proud of the young women and man they are and are becoming

Paul's passing has left a huge hole felt in many lives. He was greatly loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services for Paul will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 9th 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. L.J. Harrison and Bro. Tim Dyche officiating. Burial will follow in the Hoskins Cemetery at Big Creek.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home.
