Lucy Jane Chadwell, age 81 of Corbin, KY, widow of Dwight Chadwell, passed away on Friday, May 20 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
She leaves behind five siblings, Lela Goldie Hyatt and husband Cecil of London, KY, Allie Jean Dezarn of Ohio, Dorothy Lee Couch of Manchester, KY, Nannie Coleman and husband Rick of Arizona, Pauline Benge and husband Dallas of London, KY, plus several beloved nieces, nephews and other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Chadwell; parents, Theo & Sophia Proffitt; two siblings, Thelma Jarvis and Edward Proffitt.
Funeral services for Lucy Jane Chadwell will be conducted on Wednesday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Chadwell Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends beginning at noon until the funeral hour, also on Wednesday at the funeral home.
