Mr. Dennis Gibson, age 65 of Gibson Road in Manchester, departed this life on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at his home. He was born on Monday, December 11, 1950 in Oneida, Kentucky to the union of Lawrence and Loretta Bowman Gibson.
He was a welder, a member of the Bethany Pentecostal Church and a veteran of the United States Army.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Bobby Dale Gibson, Johnathan Gibson, Michael Gibson, and Debbie Gibson, his grandchildren: Raven Gibson, Mason Gibson, Devin Gibson, Kaitlin Gibson, Kelsey Gibson, Jaythan Gibson, Hunter Gibson, Dalton Gibson, and Cheyenne Gibson. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters: David Gibson, Ronnie Gibson, Darlene Gray, Omega Collins, Elaine Gray, Frankie Gibson, Chuckie Philpot, Sherrie Gibson, Cherrie Grubb, Roy Gibson, Ray Gibson, Connie Henson, and Sandra Gibson as well as his aunt: Evelyn Gibson, special friend: Judy Asher, 28 nieces and nephews, and 45 great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Lawrence and Loretta Gibson, and his uncle: Gilbert “Peck” Gibson.
Funeral Services for Mr. Dennis Gibson will be conducted on Monday, June 13 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charlie Martin will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandlin Branch Cemetery in the Rader Community.
Visitation will be held on Sunday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
