Dexter Smallwood,80, of Manchester passed away Saturday,July 9th, 2016 at his home.
He is survived by the following children: Darren Smallwood of Manchester, Mary Holland and her husband Richard of Otter Creek, Lola Jackson and her husband Leon of London, Dolly McCartney and her husband Joseph also of London, Bernice Smith and her husband Marty of Barborville. He is also survived by one brother; Rufus Smallwood of Martins Creek and one sister; Fronie Roark of Corbin.
Mr. Smallwood leaves behind eleven grandchildren; Russell, Brandy, John, Andrea, Karrie, Gerry, Cody, Amy, Wesley, Destiny, and Memphis along with three great grandchildren; Hannah, Gavin, and Brandon.
He is preceded in death by his wife Nolla Smith Smallwood along with his father and mother John Smallwood and Pearlie Hubbard Smallwood.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday, July 11th at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Mitchell and Youel Napier officiating. Burial will follow in the Daniel Smith Cemetery in Goose Rock.
Visitation will be held at 12 Noon Monday, July 11th at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
