Roberta Asher, 55, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 26, 2016. She was born on August 23, 1960 in Indianapolis, IN to Franklin D. Asher and Ola Ruth (Collins) Reinking.
She was a 1978 graduate of Emmerich Manual High School. She was the owner of Bert and Den's Grille Southern Plaza and the previous owner of Joe's Grille in McCordsville, Indiana. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Beech Grove, Indiana.
Roberta was very active in sponsoring many benefits for cancer patients, Harley Riders, the Humane Society, Little League softball tournaments, and various other organizations. She enjoyed playing softball, bowling, volleyball, playing pool, and spending time with friends and family. She loved her dogs BJ & Jewels.
She was a loving daughter, niece, cousin, and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by the many lives she touched over the years.
Roberta is preceded in passing by her father, Franklin D. Asher; grandparents, Polly & Lewis Asher; and grandparents, Bart & Stella Collins.
Survivors include her mother Ola Ruth (Allen) Reinking. She also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, July 29, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, Kentucky.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 1:00 PM in Britton Funeral Home with cousin Danny Ealy and Reverend J.D. Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery of Bart Collins Cemetery, Manchester.
