Mr. Billy "Shotgun" Turner, 78, of Manchester passed away Monday, August 29th, 2016 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
Mr. Turner is survived by his son Jason Turner of Manchester, his special nieces and nephews; Dennis Jones and his son Jarrod, Michael Jones, Larry Wayne Jones, Veronica Jones, Debbie Jones, Denise Combs, Dawn Turner, Sherry Martin, Robin Lynn, John Roark, Vince Roark and Bobby Roark. He is also survived by these brothers and sisters Robert Turner, T.J. Turner and wife Carolene all of Manchester, Elizabeth Kordish of Cincinnati, Ohio and Naomi Wright of Florida as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents William and Lucy Depew Turner he is preceded in death by his wife Glenna Mae Mullins Turner, one brother Clyde Turner and two sisters Erma Jean Davidson and Rosetta Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, September 2nd, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with George Roberts and Jim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Harts Branch Cemetery at Beech Creek.
Visitation will be held at 6 PM Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home
