Joyce Henson Jackson, age 55 of Elk Creek departed this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at her home. She was born on Friday, March 17, 1961 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Carl and Juanita Wagers Henson. She was a homemaker and attended the Katie’s Creek Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her sisters: Ester Mitchell and Marlene Salyers, and her brothers: Arlie Henson and Jimmy Henson as well as other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Juanita Henson and her brother: Johnny Henson.
Funeral Services for Joyce Henson Jackson will be conducted on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2 PM the Big Creek Holiness Church. Rev. Paul Mitchell and Rev. Golden Smith, Jr. will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery in the Lost Fork Community.
Visitation will be Friday evening after 6 PM at the Big Creek Holiness Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
