Alex Collett, 64 of Manchester passed away Sunday, October 2nd, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was an avid fisherman.
Alex is survived by his wife Beverly Collett of Manchester, two daughters; Brandy Burns and husband Charles and Mitzi Nolan and husband Jason, his mother, Mattie Collett, all of Manchester, one sister Darlene Huffman of Lexington and one stepson Scott Taylor of London.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Charley Burns, Tucker Burns, Jalon Nolan, Kailee Nolan, Brittany Nolan, Jacob Taylor and Ella Taylor and twenty two first cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Gill Collett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at 6 PM Wednesday at the Britton Funeral Home.
