Mrs. Alma White, age 87 of Manchester departed this life on Monday, August 10, 2021 at the AdventHealth Hospital. She was born on Wednesday, May 23, 1934 in Clay County, Kentucky to B. F. “Grapejuice” and Lydia (Valentine) White. She worked at the Department of Highways. Alma was a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church.

Herbert Ball
God called Herbert Ball home on August 5th 2021. He passed peacefully into Jesus’s arms with his family by his side. He was born in Oneida, KY to the union of James H (Harvey) Ball and Edna Byrd Ball on June 9th, 1948. He was the youngest of 5 children, who suffered with Polio and Single sided deafness. Herbert lived his whole life in the Sextons Creek Community, helped his family on the farm, traveled the United States and was a surrogate parent to his nieces and nephews. Herbert was a devout Baptist and devoted his life to God. Herbert was a Past Master of The Robert Clark Lodge #646 as well as a member of the Martha Clark #201 Order of the Eastern Star.

Mr. Elmer Wagers, age 76 of Goose Rock departed this life on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at his home. He was born on Friday, December 8, 1944 in Manchester, Kentucky to Samuel and Vesta Eversole Wagers. He was a coal miner and a member of the Mud Lick Church of the Brethren.

Joyce Ann Gibson, 48, of Oneida, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 4th, at the Hazard ARH Hospital. Joyce was born in Manchester, KY, on June 21st, 1973, the daughter of the late Ralph Gibson.
