Let it be known that The Tribal Council of The Tribe of the Whitetop Band of Native Indians, has been continually opposed to the Clay County School Board of Education (Kentucky) in the matters of the relocation of the interred at the place known as Hoskins Cemetery in Clay County KY.

LONDON, KY - The Kentucky State Police, London Post which provides coverage for Clay, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne and Whitley counties, will be conducting periodic traffic safety checkpoints as approved by the Kentucky State Police Policy and Procedures Manual.

LONDON, KY— The U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that Jake Messer, 39, of Rockholds, Kentucky, was sentenced to Life in federal prison on Tuesday, by United States District Judge Robert E. Wier.  On February 10, 2022, Messer was convicted by a federal jury of two counts of kidnapping, following his indictment in November of 2020.

COVINGTON, KY— The U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that a Florence, Ky., man, William Freddy Jackson, 43, was sentenced to 280 months in federal prison on Tuesday, by U.S. District Judge David Bunning, after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl, with a prior conviction for a serious drug felony.
