LONDON, KY (November 9, 2021 ) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Allen Turner, Deputy Justin Taylor, K-9 Deputy Jake Miller and his K-9 “Maverick” along with other Sheriff's detectives, and deputies with assistance from a KSP Detective arrested two individuals on a related drug investigation at two locations in Laurel County seizing a large amount of Meth, a large amount of Heroin, Xanax bars, Cocaine, Fentanyl, and a large sum of US currency.

WHITEFORD, MD - The Maryland State Police is reporting that: Troopers from the Bel Air Barrack are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred in Whiteford Monday morning November 8, 2021.  At approximately 6:30 A.M. troopers responded to the area of Whiteford Road and Quarry Road for a report of a pedestrian struck.

Cincinnati, Ohio Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Fentanyl and Heroin Trafficking

COVINGTON, KY (November 8, 2021) — A Cincinnati man, Clarence Toney, 41, was sentenced to 250 months in federal prison on Friday, by Chief U.S. District Judge Danny C. Reeves, after pleading guilty to the distribution of fentanyl and heroin and violating his supervised release conditions.  Toney was classified as a career offender.

MPD Officers Brandon Bertram & Casey Lang responded to a 911 call reporting two males were lying in a field near Wendy’s on North Main Street. Moments after arriving in the area, Officers Bertram & Lang made contact with both males whom they recognized and knew to be Austin Coffey and Chase Jackson.
