FRANKFORT, KY – During the last week of July, Kentucky State Police (KSP) invites the public to 'Cover the Cruiser' in support of Special Olympics Kentucky (SOKY). KSP posts across the state will have cruisers parked at designated locations* (i.e. gas stations, grocery stores, etc.) and will encourage the public to cover their cruisers with custom SOKY stickers. For a minimum donation of $1, which will go directly to SOKY, Kentuckians can purchase those stickers at the designated locations and place them on the Trooper's cruiser.

LEXINGTON, KY– Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road (GSKWR) is hosting ‘Kentucky Girl Scouts Cookies for a Cause’ – a last chance cookie sales event on Saturday, July 25 at four locations throughout Kentucky, in Lexington, Erlanger, London and Ashland. After July 25, Girl Scout Cookies will no longer be available until next year’s cookie season begins in January 2021. Due to COVID-19, this year’s cookie sales were greatly impacted, resulting in a significant surplus of cookies. The Council is seeking to sell 1,000 boxes on July 25 when cookies will be available for $4 per box from 1–6PM at the following locations:
