LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective James Sizemore charged David O. Griffith age 18 of London on a Laurel District Court warrant of arrest.
The warrant was obtained by the Laurel County Sheriff's office charging:
- Two counts of unlawful transaction with a minor – third-degree; cruelty to animals – second-degree
- Obstructing governmental operations regarding an investigation into a complaint that the Sheriff's office became aware of after a dog was apparently filmed being punched by a juvenile male and that video was then posted to social media
Allegedly, David O. Griffith filmed the event.
This individual turned himself in at the Laurel County Sheriff's office on Tuesday morning August 6, 2019 at approximately 10:17 AM. and the warrant was executed on him.
