Complaint results in PI arrest of Mount Sterling man / Clay County

Clay County, Ky. (October 3, 2019) - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on October 2, 2019 at approximately 2:00 PM Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones and Deputy Cody Blackwell arrested Kenelm Davidson, 52 of Mount Sterling.

The arrest occurred when Deputies received a complaint of an intoxicated male on South Highway 421.

Upon arrival Deputies made contact with the subject who was staggering in a parking lot with what appeared to be the individual attempting to smoke a gravel.

Through investigation it was determined the subject was manifestly under the influence of intoxicants.

Kenelim Davidson was charged with:

  • Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
