HUGH LORI DEWEY CLEAN UP CREW 9 8 20

A total of 30 large bags of trash was collected & disposed of

MANCHESTER, KY (September, 9, 2020) - Project: HOPE Manchester is reporting that: On Tuesday evening September 8, 2020 the Jacks Branch/Bowling Branch Community teamed up for a "holler cleanup"!

We worked together to collect 28 bags of trash on the section of road referred to as “Beech Woods” or sometimes “Jacks Branch Hill.” An additional two bags were collected on another short section of the road.

We disposed of everything from used needles to fast food containers plus a ton of beer cans. We collected a total of 30 large bags of trash!

We are not finished yet but we had a great start this evening. We will meet again on Tuesday, September 15 @ 6:30 at Jacks Branch Bible Church parking lot for anyone who would like to assist with the next trash pick up!

The Jacks Branch/Bowling Branch Community would like to challenge other communities to team up to clean up your holler! Who is in for the challenge?

A special thanks to Lori N Dewey Grubb for keeping us safe.

Also, a special thanks to Magistrate Bull Dog Lunsford for bringing a trailer for trash pick up and disposal.
