Complaint of Subject attempting to sell Illegal Narcotics at a Business in Clay County, Kentucky

MANCHESTER, KY (October 1, 2021) - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on September 30, 2021 at approximately 10:45 PM Clay County Sheriff K9 Deputy Wes Brumley along with Sgt. Jeremy Gabbard arrested Clarence Henson, 47 of Dan Henson Road.

The arrest occurred on Highway 80 when Deputies received a complaint that the above mentioned subject was attempting to sell illegal narcotics at a business.

Upon making contact with the subject, K9 Deputy Brumley was given consent to search when he located suspected Methamphetamine.

It was also determined that the subject was manifestly under the influence of intoxicants along with having a warrant for his arrest through Clay County District Court.

Clarence Henson was charged with:

• Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine)
• Public Intoxication of a Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court

This individual was lodged the Clay County Detention Center.
