PIPPA PASSES, KY – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at approximately 5:52 A.M, KSP Post 13, Hazard received a call of a vehicle in the ditch off the roadway around the 7 mile marker on Highway 899 in the Pippa Passes community of Knott County.
Troopers responded to the scene and located the vehicle with a male subject still inside that was non-responsive. Knott County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and pronounced Dennis Little, 44, of Topmost deceased on scene.
Evidence indicated that Little suffered some type of medical emergency prior to the crash.
No apparent signs of trauma were observed. Toxicology results are pending at this time.
This incident remains under investigation by Trooper Jody Sims.
