Adventure Tourism: Knott County Spring Trail Ride date set

HINDMAN, Ky. – Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the May Knott County Spring Trail Ride at the Mine Made Paradise Adventure Park just outside Hindman.

The ride date is May 1-4

The campground will be open Sunday, April 27 at 4 p.m. since many campers choose to come early and spend the entire week.

The cost for the event is $20 per person, and there is no extra charge for campers who wish to show up early. Those 12 years old and younger will get in free.  All campers who wish to bring horses must have both Coggins and current health certificates for all animals they bring.

There are more than 100 miles of looped trails at the Mine Made Paradise Adventure Park.  The extended weekend will feature a number of guided rides, food, live music and vendors.
