Complaint results in Domestic Violence arrest

 

 

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Kyle Gray along with Deputy Tommy Houston arrested London resident on Sunday afternoon March 15, 2015 at approximately 4:15 P.M..

Arrested was Corey Huff age 21 of Emeral Estates, London, KY.

The arrest occurred off Filter Plant road approximately 7 miles north of London after deputies responded to a complaint there.

Upon arrival deputies learned that this subject had been in an altercation and that the victim had cuts on the wrist.

Corey Huff was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence.

When deputies arrived at the Sheriff's office to process this arrest, this subject refused to exit the police cruiser. Once out of the cruiser this subject began yelling and cursing at other individuals outside the Sheriff's office.

This subject was also charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct – second-degree, and falsely reporting an incident.

Corey Huff was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
