Four people arrested on meth charges in Laurel County, KY

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Jason Back arrested 4 individuals on Tuesday afternoon May 19, 2015 at approximately 1:40 P.M.

The arrests occurred after four subjects were located in a vehicle with 2.9 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales, five needles, a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine, a cut straw with suspected methamphetamine residue, and numerous small plastic baggies.

Arrested was Heather Hollin age 38, Raven Ridge, Gray, KY, John C. Jones age 40 of Raven Ridge, Gray, KY, Mary K. Jones age 27 of Ott Road, London, KY and  Frank W. Rains age 25 of Gray, KY.

All 4 individuals were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine; and possession of drug paraphernalia and were all lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Assisting were Deputy Shawn Boroviak and Deputy John Inman.

Investigations into illegal drug activity will be continuing by the Laurel County Sheriff's office.
