Missing Person Investigation / Rockcastle County

(LONDON, KY.) – On Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at approximately 9:19 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a call of a missing person in the Livingston community of Rockcastle County.

Upon arrival Trooper Brian Maupin learned that Gerald M. Chandler, 77, of Livingston had left his residence on foot earlier that day and had not been seen since. Upon further investigation Trooper Maupin discovered that Chandler had been last seen walking on US HWY 25 near the Laurel County Line around 7:30 PM. A search of the area was conducted but unsuccessful.

Chandler was last seen wearing a red hat, white T-shirt, blue in color overalls and black shoes. A Golden Alert has been issued and anyone with any information is asked to contact Kentucky State Police Post 11 at 606-878-6622 or 1-800-222-5555.

The investigation is continuing by Trooper Brian Maupin he was assisted at the scene by Troopers from Post 11 and London Laurel County Rescue.

**UPDATE**

On Thursday, June 25, 2015 at approximately 9:00 AM, Kentucky State Police Post11, London was notified that Chandler returned home. He is no longer entered as a missing person.
