(Lancaster, KY) — The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, responded to a two vehicle collision on Kirksville Road (KY-1295) in Garrard County, just after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015.
The initial investigation indicates that a 2002 Saturn passenger car, operated by Tylar Missbach, 20 years old of Danville was travelling south on Kirksville Road when she lost control of her vehicle and collided with an oncoming vehicle, driven by Shannon Valle, 27 years old of Lancaster.
Tylar Missbach was transported to the hospital where she died as a result of her injuries. Shannon Valle, was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by Trooper Charles Brandenburg. He was assisted at the scene by KSP personnel, Garrard County Sheriff’s Office, and Garrard County Fire & Rescue.
