Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested a Lily resident on Friday night March 25, 2016 at approximately 11:32 PM.
Arrested was Micky Hollin age 41 of Hale Road, Lily, KY.
The arrest occurred on US 25, approximately 8 miles south of London while Sgt. Parrott was on routine patrol and met a silver colored Ford Focus that swerved into his lane causing him to veer his police cruiser off the roadway to avoid being struck by the Focus.
Sgt. Parrott conducted a traffic stop and determined that the driver was under the influence – this subject stated that he had taken Lorcet tablets earlier.
Micky Hollin was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
