Clay County 911 is asking the public's help in locating missing woman

A person stating that Angela Smith (pictured) is her sister, says that Angela was reported missing to police on Easter Sunday

Clay County, KY - Clay County 911 is asking the public's help in locating a female that has been missing for over a month.

Other than a photo this is all that's been reported by 911

Clay County 911 "Angela Smith missing from Big Creek and Little Creek area. Missing for over a month and if you've seen her or know of her whereabouts please contact the Kentucky State Police or Trooper Josh Wilson. Please call 598 8411 ext. 4 for any tips or information and please share post. Remember to help others and someday the help may return. God Bless"

ClayCoNews: We will check with the Post 11 PAO about getting the press release, this may take a day or so....The Clay County police agencies for whatever reason are difficult for us to obtain any any information from. However you may be able to get them to issue a report to us.....

ClayCoNews: Have not heard back from KSP but will contact them again this afternoon..Do you by any chance have a copy of the missing person report you filed from either the KSP or MPD?

Donna Jeremiah Fryman: No im sorry i dont, the officer who is over her case calls everyday and informs me if anything new has turned up.

ClayCoNews: Okay, I just talked to MPD and the KSP are the ones working your sisters case so we will be getting a release at some point. I suspect they may be doing some investigating on the quiet before issuing anything to the media. MPD is also ready to investigate any tips that may be called in to them.

Donna Jeremiah Fryman: Ok ty

ClayCoNews: We could publish Angela's picture now but I think we should wait for the media release due to the fact that it may hinder the KSP investigation process in some way. It is our prayer that Angela is found safe and sound!
