Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy Shannon Jones arrested two individuals off Taylor subdivision Road, approximately 8 miles south of London early Monday morning July 11, 2016 at approximately 12:47 AM.
Deputies were dispatched to a 911 complaint of several subjects fighting in Taylor subdivision.
When deputies arrived at the scene they learned there had been a physical altercation in the roadway there, and at least one subject had ran off.
In approximately 20 min., deputies were called back to the same location again concerning another fight that had allegedly occurred.
Deputies arrested two individuals who were identified as:
Charles McClug age 24 of Meadow Creek Ln., Warsaw, Kentucky charged with assault – 4th degree – domestic violence and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
Also arrested was Matthew Gilbert age 40 of Taylor subdivision, London charged with violation of the Kentucky EPO/DVO-- apparently this subject was found at the residence with his wife who had taken out an EPO that had one of the conditions on the EPO being to stay 500 feet from each other and both were within 15 feet of each other while deputies were on the scene.
The two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
