George Henry Wagers, 74, of Manchester, passed away Wednesday December 17th, 2014 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center.
He is survived by his wife Ella Wagers, one son George Wagers Jr., two daughters Ella Boyd and husband Robert, and Clarissa Wagers, all of Manchester.
He is also survived by two brothers Willie and Cecil Wagers, Both of Goose Rock, and two sisters, Sally Wagers, Lockards Creek, and Sophia Davis, Shelbyville, KY, and 10 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by these children: Amanda Brumley, Devonna Minton, and Debra Ann Wagers, his parents Beve and Amanda Wagers, one brother Albert Wagers, and one sister Geneva Gibson.
The funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday December 21st, 2014 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Tip Minton and Bobby Charles Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery at Goose Rock. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home.
