Russell Roberts, age 79, of Manchester, departed this life on Saturday, August 20th, 2016 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda Roberts, along with their children: Rusty Roberts and his wife Debbie, of Manchester, Quinton Roberts and his wife Missy, of Manchester, and Jennifer Gates and her husband Chris, of Manchester. He is also survived by these grandchildren: Brandon Roberts and his wife Ann, Lora and her husband Matthew Reid, Betsy and her husband Tyler Reynolds, John Quinton Roberts, Lesley Roberts, Jake Roberts, and Jackson Gates. He leaves behind two nephews: Mike and Tim Roberts, along with a special niece and nephew: Karen Roberts and Roy Roberts,
Russell also leaves behind three great grandchildren: Sophie June Roberts, Benjamin Russell Roberts, and Finley Caroline Reynolds.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Pearl Roberts and Bess Gibson Roberts, along with two brothers: Estill and Bob Roberts, and one nephew: Bobby Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, August 24th, at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Daniel Henson officiating. Burial will follow in the Harts Branch Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Tuesday, August 23rd, at the Britton Funeral Home.
