Sarah Cornett, age 66, departed this life on Thursday, September 22nd, of 2016 at her home in Manchester, Kentucky. She was born June 6th, of 1950 to Johnny Collins and Audrey Orthy Howard in Manchester.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband: Pryse Cornett of Manchester, and the following children: Hairam Cornett of Salem, Indiana, Sam Cornett of Tennessee, Pearl Cornett of Tennessee, Roy hall of Manchester, Mary Cornett and her Fiance Daniel Mills of Manchester, and Elsie Bishop of Manchester.
In addition to her husband and children, Sarah is survived by three brothers and two sisters: Stanley Collins of Soul, Kentucky, George Collins of Oneida, Kentucky, Charlie Collins of Columbia, Kentucky, Eva Powers of Loudon, Tennessee, and Lizzie Powers of Lenoir City, Tennessee.
She also leaves behind a good friend, Cheryl Hensley, a host of nieces and nephews, and fourteen grandchildren and a host of other great grandchildren.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents: Johnny Collins and Audrey Orthy Howard.
Funeral services will be held at the Jacks Creek Holiness Church on Sunday at 1 PM with Tim Reid, Johnny Baker, and Jim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Ulysses Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be at 6 PM Saturday at the Jacks Creek Holiness Church.
