OREGON STATE POLICE GRIEF-STRICKEN BY THE LOSS OF SERGEANT MARCUS MCDOWELL

WALLOWA COUNTY, OR - (March 31, 2022) - The Oregon State Police is reporting that the entire OSP family is grief-stricken by the loss of Sergeant Marcus McDowell. On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Sergeant Marcus McDowell, who works out of our La Grande Patrol Office, was found deceased in his patrol car. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and co-workers as they cope with this tragic incident.

LONDON, KY (March 31, 2022) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler along with Deputy Dustin Saylor arrested Megan M. Jones age 38 of London on Wednesday evening March 30, 2022 at approximately 5:47 PM.

MANCHESTER, KY (March 31, 2022) – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that London Post was notified by Clay County 911 approximately 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022, of a fatal accident involving a small child. The accident occurred on US 421 South in the Manchester area of Clay County. The collision resulted in one juvenile fatality.

FRANKFORT, KY – The former County Attorney for Lawrence County, Michael T. Hogan, and his wife and legal secretary, Joy M. Hogan, 41, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, before U.S. District Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove, to wire fraud. Michael Hogan pleaded guilty also to federal program theft.

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Dylan Messer arrested Forrester Joseph age 32 of Keavy on Tuesday evening March 22, 2022 approximately 5:03 PM. The arrest occurred on Old Whitley Road in London after deputies were dispatched to a reckless driving complaint on West Laurel Rd.
